Q.

Banana Plant

Zone 71111 (zone 8) | steverambo added on August 28, 2017 | Answered

I am making an outdoor bed to be ready in the spring so I can plant some banana plants. I live in Zone 8 and have a clay soil. Bananas will be a new endeavor for me and I need to get started on the right foot. Can you tell the correct soil the banana should be planted in? Thanks for any help.

These are good articles that I had already read. I only see where it says to use a moist, well drained soil. Which soil or mix do I need to purchase.
