We have about 14 mounds/hillocks which have evolved in our back lawn over several years and are getting worse. They measure approximately 60cm diameter x 20cm height. Now they appear to be erupting in our front lawn. Any idea what is causing this and more importantly, how we can get rid of them! Thanks.
It could be mole or vole tunneling. In mole tunnels you can't see the entrance hole, but vole entrance holes are left uncovered. Groundhogs can leave holes a foot across.

Can I bring my salad burnet inside for the winter? The squirrels keep digging in my pot.
It is worth a try as many herbs can be grown inside if they have enough light. Salad burnet, however, loses flavor as it ages, and it is recommended to start new plants once the plants go to seed. If yours have already gone to seed, you can start the seeds indoors for the winter, or just wait till spring. Here is more:

Hi, They are under the garage slab floor. Recommendations? Sincerely yours, Jimmy Reed
Outside of a professional, It is not likely that you will get rid of them on your own. Especially in that location. Unfortunately, you will want to contact your local pest management services for this one.

I would love to try your container gardening in my apartment patio, but too many squirrels. An suggestions about this problem? I literally have tried everything to get rid of them, but with no good solution. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated. Thank you.
To protect your container garden from squirrels, consider planting squirrel-resistant plants such as lavender, geraniums, and marigolds. These can help when planted among your garden. Additionally, use mesh or netting to cover your containers, and try commercial repellents or motion-activated sprinklers to deter squirrels. Replacing an existing bird feeder with a squirrel-proof one can also help divert the squirrels' attention. Be prepared for trial and error, as finding the most effective solution may require some experimentation.

Planted bare root lupin and just as it emerged from the soil squirrel bit it off. Have now covered it with mesh but will it recover
Covering the bare root lupin with mesh provides protection from further squirrel damage. With proper care and protection, the lupin has a good chance of recovering. Ensure that the mesh allows sunlight and airflow while preventing squirrels from accessing the plant. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and monitor the plant closely for signs of new growth. With patience and attention, the lupin should be able to recover from the setback.
I live in Florida. Rabbits love to eat my flowers.
Pentas are a host plant for the caterpillars of some moths and one caterpillar can strip a stem of its flowers
I have half barrels for my garden but my car insists on using as toilet. I’ve tried spikes in the soil but she just moves them. Would something like gravel or pebbles over the top work?
Yes, they usually steer clear of areas mulched with stone or pebbles.
