I have an amaryllis that was given to me for Christmas last year. I repotted it when the foliage began to die and it's been in a pot in front of my house all summer. Reading the directions on the box, it says to bring indoors in September, cut off foliage, apply compost and let rest for 8 weeks. I am assuming that the reason for this (bringing indoors) is because it starts to get cold out in Sept. But not here in central FL. So, should these instructions be amended in any way due to where I live? At the moment, it is still outside in a pot and still has foliage. What is my next step and how should I proceed from there to give it a chance to bloom again in Dec?
Amaryllis may be kept outdoors from September through April in warm weather climates. The foliage is evergreen in warm climates and will continue to grow in your garden. Water as needed, typically once a week.

I bought a Amaryllis from Home Depot about 5 weeks ago and it is in a vase with rocks in the bottom. The instructions just said add 2/3 cup of water when I get home and didn't say anything else about watering it. There is no more water in the vase. Do I need to add more water?
Yes, you should replenish the water as needed, keeping it at least an inch below the bulb. Don't allow the water in the vase touch, only the roots should make contact with the water, as this can cause the amaryllis bulb to rot.
Thank you!!
I was gifted an amaryllis by a very special friend and on the way home the plant tipped over in the car. There was soil that spilled out of the pot and when I got home I didn't know if the soil should go on top of the amaryllis or under the amaryllis. It is now time to water the plant and the bulb comes almost all the way up to the top of the pottery pot. Another question is how do I water it? My friend told me 1 cup per week. I am guessing I'll have to water a little at a time and let it drain down in the pot. But my main question is do I lift the bulb up and allow the soil to go under the plant or leave it over the top? There's really not much soil but I wanted to do the right thing. PLEASE help me. . .this is a VERY good friend of mine. Thank you in advance.
Generally, the top of the amaryllis bulb is left sticking up from the soil. This article will help with its care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/amaryllis-hippeastrum/amaryllis-care-instructions-how-to-care-for-an-amaryllis.htm
My mother gave me this gift of an amaryllis after market. Was very white when I took it out of the box. Planted according to instruction. There was one bloom trying to get some light. Plant seems to be doing well, getting green in the leaves. The one shoot that had a bloom that had been trapped by the box is bent over and not looking very good. There is new bloom coming out from the center. Do I need to leave the droopy one as is/cut it off?
Once the flowers have faded, you can trim the entire stem back to the bulb with sharp scissors. If any of the blooms are unsightly (or droopy), you can go ahead and cut these too. It will not hurt the plant to do so. What is the seed pod looking thing on the bloom stalk after the bloom is done? What do you do with it?
This is exactly what you described, the seedpod. If you want to try growing the seeds, let the seedpod stay until it is dry, then you can plant the seeds.
Otherwise, simply cut it off.
My amaryllis has tiny bugs flying around it. How do I get rid of the bugs?
It sounds like you have fungus gnats. This article will help:

I've been growing Amaryllis in a pot outdoors for a couple of years. It has just finished blooming on April 1st. At this point, I wish to grow it straight in the garden soil. How do I go about transferring from the pot to the garden soil permanantly. When is the best time to do this? Also, fertilizing, watering, sunlight etc? Do I leave it in the ground all year or should I bring it in at some point? I live in Florida, Zone 9.
They will survive year round outside in zones 7 or higher, so in your area, it can be left outdoors year round. It can be planted in late spring or summer. Find a sunny location that drains well. Plant the bulbs with an inch of the bulb above the soil surface. After your amaryllis have bloomed, cut off the flower stalks. The foliage is evergreen in warm climates and will continue to grow in your garden. Water as needed, typically once a week. Use a high phosphorus fertilizer or bone meal. The phosphorus is what plants use to make the blooms and helps with blooming.
