I have 18 inch very green and healthy stems, but no flowers. This has happened for 2 years and me thinking each year I will have flowers. I did cut the stems last fall, put it in a dark place and put in light as soon as I saw the green returning. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Should I have taken the bulb out of the pot and kept in peat moss? I have 1 white and 1 orange.
This can happen for a few reasons. The main reason being that their climate and watering amounts need to be very precise at certain times. Other reasons can include a lack of light or lack of feeding. This article will give you an idea of how to make them bloom again:

How do I get it to complete the entire cycle. After the first year I only get leaves but not another flower. Any ideas or suggestion on what to do?
It may be too warm in your area for complete dormancy. If these do not get a sufficient dormancy they will fail to bloom. Digging them out during a portion of the year for storage will correct the issue most of the time.

Can I grow amaryllis from the dried black seeds?
Yes, you can! This article tells how:
One plant has three bulbs in one. Should I separate them?
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I am unable to see the damage.
Generally, you will not cut any growth off unless it is over halfway dead. It is best to leave it for as long as possible, unless it is infected.
3 bulbs will not be near overcrowded if they are in the proper sized container for their growth.

are the Amaryllis bulb and the Canna bulb the same plant?
The answer is they are definitely not the same plant, but are quite different from one another. Here are a couple articles for you:

I understand the bulbs will be shipped to me Nov/Dec. I want to tell folks when to plant the bulbs. When will they bloom? Spring or Summer? I understand the bulbs are ready to pop stalks once they are shipped.
Ideally those bloom indoors around Christmas, so you need to receive/ship them in early November so the recipient has time to initiate the growth.
The bulbs come with instructions but Amaryllis usually need about 6 to 8 weeks to bloom.
After they bloom and the threat of frost is past, they can be planted outside and will come up the next spring in planting zones 6 or 7 and warmer.

I purchased these as Amaryllis 3 years ago. They don't bloom when my others bloom. I tried separating them to no avail. I have some in full sun, some in shade & more in part sun.
It's hard to say without seeing the flower. It could be agapanthus lily or surprise lily. You don't say whether the bloom looks like amaryllis.
When it blooms, look up those two names and see if there is a match.
