My husband sent me a bouquet of 18 calla lilies on September 8th. Most died after the first weekend, but two survived up until about two weeks ago. The remaining living calla lily is growing roots in the water I left it in over this past weekend. I can't help but think it's symbolic and I'd like to keep it, but I do not have a green thumb. How long will it survive in this lone cup of water and how can I safely transfer it to a pot? Please be reminded, I do not have a green thumb. I'm a plant-dummy!
I'm sorry you will not be able to grow a Calla Lily from a cut flower.
Calla Lily grow from a tuber or rhizome.

Can I grow them in Central Florida? Are they saltwater resistant? By the last, I mean wind blown saltwater. Thank you.
You can grow Calla Lilies in your region.
They would not be considered salt water resistant.
Here is a few links for you including an article that lists plants that may do better in your growing environment.

I can't remember the actual name for my Callas, but they are the very large, white bloom. Anyway, I just dug them up to store them and they had few, if any, actual bulbs on them. Most were in a garden, but some were in pots. The plants in the large pots were a mass of roots and obviously pot bound. The plants in the ground did not have any bulbs either. The greenery on all the plants was very heavy and thick. I have had these plants for many years and they were gorgeous giving many, many blooms every year until I moved them to where I could enjoy them more. Have I lost them? Also, I did not get a single bloom this year. We had a very hard winter last year. Any ideas, or advice will be appreciated. I'll try to attack photos. Thanks, Kevin B24ert@gmail.com

I have some beautiful Giant White Calla Lilies that seriously needed to be separated. I have done just that and now I have all sorts of tiny bulb-lets left over. My question is, what can I do for these tiny bulbs to keep them and start a new generation of Giant White Callas? Do I let them dry out and store them over the winter then plant them in the spring like other kinds of bulbs/rhizomes? Should I start them in a pot over the winter and transplant them in spring? Or could I plant them now in a protected area and let them do their thing?

I planted a Calla Lily I got in March outside after it had finished blooming. Now it is blooming again and it is November. I live in Washington State. Is this normal? Should I do anything to protect the plant?
If your in zones 7 or lower you will need to lift and bring the bulbs indoors for winter.

If the weather has been warm into fall the bulbs will continue blooming.
This can occur and is not that unusual.
I received a calla lily and now the leaves keep turning yellow - the flowers died. I have been told that this is going dormant but the florist advised me to look for help on the computer. I looked at this and it acted as if it had been in the outside ground and to wait till the frost gets it good, dig it out and take all the dirt off the rhizomes. I live in Wisconsin and we have been having cold-frosts but this was an inside plant originally from a florist. Can I find out just what to do with it? I can keep it in a very cool basement for the winter.
If your potted Calla Lily has finished blooming, then it will need a dormant period.
You should stop watering the plant so the bulbs can dry out.
You can let the leaves die back naturally and then cut them off when they have all wilted down.
Store the pot in a cool and dark location for 2 months.
Then you can remove the bulbs and repot in fresh potting soil.
Began watering--moist but not soggy.
Give the Calla Lily a good bright but indirect sunlight location.
If the leaves were yellowing while it was still in bloom, this link will help you access the situation.
