When should I cut back my flower garden in preparation for winter? I am mainly concerned about my calla lilies and roses. I also have butterfly bushes, lavender, tall grass plants and many whose names I have forgotten. Thank you for any help you may give me!

Where can I buy a variety of Calla Lily bulbs in Canada? I bought a few from Garden Import last year but they are not in business any longer. I checked with Veseys and all they have is the Giant White kind.
Do a Google search for Calla Lily bulbs. There should be several sources that can ship to you.
Also Ebay is a good source for plants. Make sure you verify that a seller is reputable and has good feedback.
What is the corncob like thing that is on my calla lily where the flower was previously? Can they be used to produce more bulbs?
What you are seeing is a seed pod. Here is an article that will give you additional information:

Happy gardening!
There many white shoots off the calla lily rhizome. What do I do with them once I dig up the rhizome? Do I cut these off to store or store them with the roots?
Do not cut the rhizomes, leave them intact.

I'm not an expert with plants, not at all, and I'm not sure how to take care of my calla. My boyfriend gave me this calla around the end of April and it had lilies. Now it doesn't have lilies anymore and the leaves are fading in colour. At the beginning they were dark green, now they're all light green and very week and are dying. I've read on one of your articles that that could happen, but I'm not sure it is normal that all the leaves die.
Your plant likely is done blooming and is going dormant.
You should stop watering and let the plant die down, you can move it to a dark location.
Follow the care information in the links below.

I have an indoor calla lily whose leaves are drooping. It last bloomed in May. I have tried putting it in sun and dark room as well as not watering it for a week and then watering just until it is moist. Why are leaves drooping?

The two containers they were in deteriorated and I wanted to put them into new containers. There were also not as many flowers this years as in the past so I figured it must be time to spread them out into a few new containers. I found dozens of bulbs or rhizomes when I dug them out. How many should I put into a 12" high x 12" round/tapered container? I usually keep them in their containers in the garage over the winter. Now that I dug them up, should I keep them in peat moss until spring or can I transplant them into the new containers now?
Since you have removed the bulbs I would follow the cleaning, drying and storing information in the link below.
Then in spring you can replant the bulbs.
I like to fill the pots with the bulbs by planting in a circular pattern.
Start with one bulb in the center and fill the pot leaving about 1 1/2 inches between bulbs.
