Q.Would A Parlor Palm Be Appropriate For This Space?
I love LIVE plants and have a space in our home that I want to put one (see attached photo). I have tried several (even succulents) but nothing lasts. It doesn’t have any direct sunlight. It is across the room from our dining room which is the only light when the sun shines. Have problems finding something as all light that comes through the dining room is somewhat filtered because we have a covered front porch, Have been looking for something and from the description, looks like the Parlor Palm might fill the bill. My husband and I are in our 70s and I’m tired of wasting money we don’t have to keep trying. Any advice would be most grateful. I receive your newsletter and saw where to “Ask a Pro”.

Here is a list of low light plants and parlor palm is on it. ZZ plant is often praised as the best for low light areas.
