Winterizing a Japanese Cherry Willow

Zone 14701 | Anonymous added on November 24, 2018 | Answered

Is it a good idea to wrap burlap around a new Japanese Cherry Willow for the winter in Western NY? We get a lot of snow and cold. Is there some special care it needs?

If you are in doubt, then it is always a good idea to wrap the tree in burlap. This article will give more information on their care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/weeping-cherry/weeping-cherry-growing-tips.htm
