Q.Why is my newly potted hibiscus losing its leaves?

Zone 7 | Zenaven added on June 28, 2012 | Answered

I just bought and repotted a hibiscus plant. I water it every day, as it has been around 100 degrees. The leaves have been turning yellow and falling off at a rapid pace. What am I doing wrong?

Probably the stress related to the repotting is causing this, in addition to the extreme heat. It is nothing to worry about right now, but just in case, here are some other reasons the leaves may be turning yellow: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/answers-to-what-causes-hibiscus-leaves-turning-yellow.htm
