Q.Why Hibiscus leaves turning yellow and falling off
I have 2 Hibiscus plants on my porch. The leaves are turning yellow and falling off. The new ones that grow out remain small. I am careful about overwatering. In the past I have kept other Hibiscus plants in the same location and they have always thrived there. I have checked the leaves for and bugs and have not found any. The surrounding plants are healthy.

Most leaf yellow and subsequent leaf loss signals stress of some type affecting the plant. If you recently put them outdoors after spending winter inside, the plants could simply be acclimating to their new outdoor surroundings and the situation will right itself.
