Q.Why Do Radishes Make Lots Of Leaves But No Radishes To Eat?
This problem has happened to me several times at different locations in our garden Ususally we have an abundance of radishes. This time I grew them in the greenhouse which has a heater, and the soil of which I had used a granual organic fertiliser and had watered the area well. The variety that I grew was French Breakfast

This is most often caused by too much nitrogen in the soil. Soil for root plants, such as these, will need quite a bit more phosphorus, and much less nitrogen.
