Q.When To Trim Large Oleanders In Zone 8, El Paso? Also, A Lavender Question.

1.)I have seven very large oleanders (7 feet up to 12 feet tall)
in my El Paso yard on west side of Franklin mountains. What is
best time of year to trim them? How much should I trim off?

2.) Where can I obtain lavender plants, the Grosso variety that is large and deep purple? When is best time to plant them in El Paso Zone 8?

Our experts feel they should be pruned by mid-September, but your Texas weather may still be appropriate right now.

You can plant lavender in spring or fall. We don't recommend certain retailers, but suggest you find your lavender plants locally or online from reputable nurseries.
