What Plants, Trees And Bushes(sp?) Can Be Rooted?

Question

I have a few bushes, one of them being a lilac, that I would like to take cuttings from and develop them into viable plants. I know this can be done but I haven’t been able to find what plants it can be done with.

I’d like to do with a cutting from my neighbors red maple as well.
