What Is Causing Brown Specks On Leaves Of Redbud Tree?

leaves of Redbud tree getting brown specks of various size, then whole leaf turns yellow. I am watering every other day as it is less than year old. Is this heat problem? or something stinging the leaf?

This is a case of drastic overwatering, which has led to an infection.

After the first month, watering should cease. The only time extra water should be given will be during times of drought. The soil needs to dry out, very thoroughly, down to about 3 or 4 inches before the tree needs extra water.
