Weeds in beach grass

Question

I have beach grass planted in soil on a hill in my yard. There are weeds growing all thru it. Is there anything I could spray on it to kill the weeds and stop them? Thank you. Yvette Maloney

Anything you use may kill off the grass as well. You will, more than likely, have to hand pick them. This is unfortunate but I am afraid that anything you use will also harm the plants you are trying to keep around. If there are large patches, then you can kill them with boiling water. This will still kill grass as well, but it will not leave the ground toxic.
