Q.repotting hostas

gillysid@btinternet.com added on April 16, 2015 | Answered

We have grown 2 hosta plants from seed and they are now about 3 inches tall and need repotting. Can I put them in a large pot straight away or do I have to increase the pot size gradually?

I would say you could put in a large pot straight away, this way you are minimizing the stress put on the plants in their early stages of development.
