Anthurium Plants

Q.We Have An Anthurium…only Flowers Maybe 3 Times Per Year, And Usually With One Flower. Is This Normal? What Can I Do To Encourag

e more flowering? This plant is approximately 3 years + old, and appears healthy. I believe someone told me it does not need “feeding”…so I have not done so. We changed the soil a year ago, and into a larger pot. Any assistance in accomplishing more flowering is appreciated. Thanks, Rick F.

Anthuriums can be tricky. Usually lack of blooms is due to low light. Make sure they receive bright light but not direct sun. Light feeding will help them bloom. These articles should help:
