They are very drought tolerant once they are established. Water it deeply. Try every 3 days. They begin to drop their foliage if thirsty, leaving the tree with an open canopy. If planted in container culture, you may need to water more often. Remove the oleander from its container and position it so it sits at precisely the same height in the soil as it did in the container. The base of the main stem should be at soil level, not below.
