Q.Watering New Dahlia

Zone 95370 | GreenThbwannaB added on May 14, 2020 | Answered

Hi! I just planted 3 new Dahlia zhysomes in large pots 2 days ago. I’m wondering how much to water them? Do they need to be constantly wet, or will this be too much & cause rot? They are in full sun. Thank you.

Water until it runs out of the container's drainage holes, then don't water again until the soil is completely dry down to about 2 or 3 inches.

This will not be on a schedule, and will only need to be watered after the soil dries down to that depth. This article will help you with their care:
