Tree leaf disease

Question

I planted an Eastern rebud last year. It has shown growth but the leaf edge, especially the point of the heart shape, has gone rusty

There are a number of fungal diseases that redbuds are susceptible to, most are not serious. Be sure to clean up any fallen leaves and destroy them to prevent reinfection the next year.
