The Rabbit Ate My Fern Leaf Peony This Spring , When It Came Up. Will The Bulb Survive Without The Plant Growing This Season?

I’m thinking I may move the bulbs into a protected garden area. Can I do this now & hope they will come up next spring? I’m soooo sad!!
