There are so many leaves blocking the sun, so can I cut the leaves?
Sure! Pruning zucchini plants benefits them in a number of ways. This article will walk you through when and how to prune your zucchini plant:
After the blossom has bloomed, they close up and have a fuzzy black mold. I have removed the blossoms. Do I need to spray them? I have yet to have any fruit. I even tried to self pollinate them using a q-tip. Help me please.
It does appear to be a moldy fungus on the flowers.
This is likely due to damp conditions in the garden.
Neem Oil would be a good treatment. It is safe for people, pets and bees.

I have started my seeds indoors and now that they have finally sprouted I Have been placing them outdoors during the day and bringing them indoors at night so they don't get too cold. Recently while I was at work, there was a quick rain storm so my seedlings took some damage. Now, particularly on my zucchini sprouts a couple leaves have turned yellow! I don't know if this is because they touched their peat pot soil while wet, or if I inadvertently touched them myself while rushing them inside the day of the storm. Will the yellow leaves spread to my other plants? Will the yellowed leaves kill my zucchini? Is there a cure for this? (There is a chance I caused it by touching as previously stated) I have never started my garden from seeds before... And as it takes a long time I would be extremely disappointed if they all became ruined because I am an amature gardener... Help? I will provide a picture as my plants are still quite young.
There can be a few reasons for yellowing seedlings. In this case it is most likely attributed to water and light.
Your seedlings actually look quite healthy!

I started Zucchini seeds about 2 weeks and have gotten some great growth started. However, I have noticed that the leaves are not opening as they have in past years for me. Is this a sign of a problem? I have included a picture. Thanks in advance for advise!
The seedlings look like they are a bit leggy and reaching for sunlight.
You should place them in a sunny window and can rotate them to help them grow evenly.
You can use a grow light to help with growth.

Whshould I use a store bought soil to plant my zucchini seeds in, or can I get better results if I make a compost bin, and plant the seeds in that?
Composting is great, and a super way to create organic garden material. Composting will take some time, and in the mean time you can certainly purchase garden soil to plant in.
