I have one plant that I bought at Walmart . It is growing and blooming but I do not have any zucchini yet. Seems like the blooms fall off but no veggie. What is wrong?
This is a super common problem, believe it or not - and it's completely normal. There are a couple possible reasons: male blooms and poor pollination. The male blooms aren't an issue, and this article will tell you why:
You can also pollinate the blooms yourself by going from one to the next with a Q-tip and rubbing the Q-tip on each bloom, all around the plant with the same Q-tip.
Is this the mosaic virus or are the leaves just yellowing from the copious amount of rain we have had?
It certainly does look like mosaic virus. This article may help

If using Tums as a quick treatment ..how many should I put around each plant
Here is a link with help for Blossom End Rot.
I brought home a zucchini plant and was watching an online video on how to best take care of it to help it grow zucchini and the video mention blight or fungus and I looked and saw my leave looked similar to what the blogger described. Can you tell me if I should prune these leave in the photos I have supplied and what to do to protect the plant and my other plants. I have a small patio garden going and what to keep it going. Thank you in advance
I would suspect this is Aphids.
You can treat the plants with Neem Oil. Neem Oil is organic and safe for people, pets and bees.
It will take care of most sucking pests and also works as a fungicide.

In the article I just read, there seems to be conflicting instructions. First it says be sure to cut off the leaf at the base of the plant. Next it says to not cUT the stem as it could let pests in. How do I cut off the leaf at the base of the plant without cutting the stem? My plants are incredibly leafy and I need to remove leaves to improve air flow and to allow more sun to reach the zucchini.
You can definitely remove a leaf from a main stem without cutting the main stem. There can be multiple "stems" on a single plant, and they are usually the main branch of the plant from which the fruit will grow. The leaves will have much smaller "stems" of their own, and these are the ones that you want to cut. Leaf stems typically don't have the ridges on them that the main stems do.
If you just follow a leaf stem down until you reach the "parent" stem that it grew out of, cut it about a half inch or so ABOVE that main (parent) stem.
Hope this helps!
I'm guessing this is the article you read, but in case it isn't:
We have three zucchini plants that appear healthy, however, they are only producing male blossoms. this has been going on for at least a month. should we expect female blossoms within a month of male blossoms? Is there anything we can do to encourage the female blossoms?
In most cases, just give the plants more time.
Provide even watering.

I got one nice fat zucchini off my plant-about 7 in long. Now the ones growing are growing long and skinny-what is my problem?
It could be the variety you are growing, the growing conditions or even pollination issues.
Many gardeners pick their zucchini at small sizes, but left on the vine will grow larger.
