I have a small, square foot garden, and unfortunately, I didn't give my 3 zucchini plants quite enough room. They are thriving, but the leaves are starting to shade some of my seedling cucumbers and a pepper plant. Can I cut back some of the leaves on that side of the zucchini plant?
You can, but make sure that you sterilize your cutting implement with rubbing alcohol before you trim to help reduce chances of disease getting into the plant.
What do I do? The plants are large, male flowers are blooming, fruit are about the diameter of a pencil, but don't grow any more than 1 inch long. Blossom rot also occurs. Help!
If they are that small and they are falling off, it sounds like a pollination problem. These articles will help:

My zucchini plant produces, but before the zucchini is full grown, it rots. What causes this to happen?
This is called blossom end rot and is often due to a lack of calcium. These articles will help:

Can I plant zucchini in the fall? I planted in the spring, got big leaves, lots of flowers, and that is all.
Planting takes places in spring. This is most likely an issue with poor pollination, which can be due to a lack of pollinating insects in the area or lack of female flowers. You could try hand pollinating. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/squash/pollinate-squash-by-hand.htm
I just found green worms on my zucchini plants. I found them under the leaves on the edges. Some were starting to wind up in web like material. I also found one in an actual zucchini. How do I get rid of them?
They can usually be picked off or treated with products containing Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), which is a natural pest control targeted at caterpillars and worm-like insects.
The plants are beautiful. Zucchini starts growing fine but stops at about 3-4", then starts to shrivel up and turn yellow. . . almost like a prune. I keep reading not to pick them till they are at least 6-10", but none get that big! What am I doing wrong? This is my first garden. Beans and tomatoes are doing pretty good.
You are not doing anything wrong. Actually, this is quite common. This article will help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/zucchini/zucchini-fruit-fall-off-the-plant-before-they-are-full-grown.htm
