Planted Burpee seeds and got beautiful plants and flowers but only 2-3 zucchini. They get sun from 11a. m. and for the rest of the day. Summer was hot and dry but watered garden. What happened?
This is typical behavior for a squash plant. They will produce mostly male (non-fruiting) blossoms early in the season and will gradually start to produce more female blossoms as the season progresses. Give it some time and you will see it start fruiting.
Can I grow a zucchini hill next to a yellow squash hill and have true fruit?
Squash may require as much as 500 feet between varieties to prevent cross-pollination. However, you only need to worry about cross-pollination of squash if you save the seeds for planting next year.
Here is an article or two that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/vgen/cross-pollination.htm

I have three plants, two of which were moved in early stages of growth. The one unmoved is fine, but the other two are stunted in growth and have some yellowing and dying leaves on the base. Only the unmoved plant has fruit.
The plants that were moved are likely suffering from transplant shock. There is little you can do but wait it out to see if their roots take hold. Just make sure they have water. Since they are newly transplanted, I would recommend using a fertilizer that is higher in phosphorous. This will help them grow stronger roots and get established better. Fertilize at half strength though, so that the fertilizer does not burn the roots while they are adjusting. Hopefully, this will take care of it.
Why are my zucchini plants falling over? They are big with squash on them.
Have you had a wind storm lately? It could be that they got twisted in a hard wind and some of the ribs in the stems may have become cracked. Not enough to kill the plant, but enough so the support was damaged.
If this is the case, you can use stakes to replace the lost support. You can use pantyhose to tie the stakes.
Plant grows well, sets flowers, but either flowers fall off early or zucchini turns yellow and rots off while still very small. What am I doing wrong? The first couple of years had great success but the last 3 or 4 years had very little yield.
The flowers dropping off is typical behavior for a squash plant. They will produce mostly male (non-fruiting) blossoms early in the season and will gradually start to produce more female blossoms as the season progresses. The fruit drop is normally due to poor pollination. All of my plants are the dark green that they should be but I have 2 plants that are a light green in color and I don't know why. Is there a reason for it?
This typically indicates a lack of nutrients. I would try giving them a water soluble fertilizer (either a chemical kind or compost tea), and that should bring them around quickly
I am battling the borer on the plants but zuchinni is growing but shirvels at the ends. What am I doing wrong? Or is my problem associated with the borers?
It sounds like you are having pollination issues. When the flowers are not properly pollinated, the plant will reject the fruit while they are just a few inches long. You may need to hand pollinate. This article will help:

However, if you are having issues with borers, then you need to remedy this in order to get any healthy fruits. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/zucchini/vine-borers-zucchini.htm
