I bought a blue wisteria plant from Lowe's. It's packaged in a cylindrical covering that is meant to keep in moisture. The plant's bulb is 2 years old. I live in northern Virginia. I've been searching everywhere and I can't find when I'm supposed to plant it. Do I wait until after last frost, or can I plant it now at the end of February? Thank you, Landon.
You can plant your wisteria two or three weeks before the last frost date, as long as the soil is warm enough to work. If this hasn't happened yet, please see the following article for advice on keeping your plant healthy until then:

I've started wisteria plants from seed. They have been growing just fine, but now I see on one of the plants, its leaves have very small brown specks and the color or the leaf has gone from dark green to a yellowish green. Any ideas?
This could be a leaf spot fungus on your vine.
Removal of the leaves effected is recommended.
Make sure you have good air circulation around the plant and that the soil is moist but not soggy.

Our neighbor has a wisteria plant that is out of control. It has taken over trees and has a huge root in our garden. If I cut the root and apply Roundup, will it kill the entire wisteria plant (hopefully).
Yes, this is a way to kill off the vine.

Will wisteria grow in northern bc close to the Yukon? Also can it be started from a seed pods? Thank you
A variety called Summer Cascade is hardy down to zone 3, which is hardy down to -30 F --40 F.
You would need to purchase this variety as a plant.
THIS PLANT IS ENORMOUS NOW, BUT NOT BLOOMING AS EXPECTED. IF SEARCHING WILL NOTICE A FEW BLOOMS ,BUT HAVE TO SEARCH. IT HAS A LARGE PERGOLA TO CLIMB NOW WHICH APPEARED TO MAKE IT QUITE HAPPY. IM IN west KELOWNA BC.

I live in southern New Jersey. My wisteria was budding when we just had a couple of days of unseasonal cold weather. When I went out to look at it after the cold days the buds had turned brown. Will it still flower? Do I cut all the buds off?
I'm sorry your Wisteria got affected by the colder temperatures! It is very possible that it will not bloom this year. Here are two articles that may help you:

1).I cracked the pod in the sun, waited for spring, opened the seed by putting it in water to get seedling to sprout, and finally, Grandson and I planted it in mulch with water holding pellets. It has come up through the dirt, and I have left it outside all night for the past 3-4 days and it is doing great. Anything else special I should do now? Oh, and I put a small stick next to it to give it support to climb. 2). I have seen it written that it can take 10 years or more for it to blossom, is that true? I have waited so long to grow one from a strong plant, and cannot beleive it would take that long to blossom from a seed. Please let me know, and Thank you for your time. Penny H.
Congratulations on producing seeds and germinating it successfully!
Yes, patience is now required, it can take up to 15 years to see blossoms from a seed grown vine.
