Why is my Mulberry tree drooping? It was repotted last year and began to grow like crazy from a small 2m bush. The branches were strong. It lost its leaves in Winter and then sprouted new ones. It is now carrying about 500 new mulberries but for the last few weeks it is drooping. I understand the obvious answer would be too many leaves, too much fruit, but it has had this for some time without drooping. Its only recently that it appears to be unable to support itself. I don't believe it is the leaves or the fruit, the whole tree just seems to be limp.
That didn't go out correctly. I meant:
"...It was repotted last year and began to grow like crazy from a small 1m twig to a 2m bush.
I recently purchased a huge umbrella tree! upon transport the bag covering the leaves ripped of, and most of the leaves were ripped and falling off. Many are dried and falling off. It is about 8 ft tall with one large stalk. Will it recover? The same thing also occurred with the other tall tree like houseplant. It had smaller leaves, but same thing. Everything is dying. It got to cold on transport too.
I believe they will come back if you care for them as you would normally. Many trees experience shock from moving, so this isn't usually a concern. Just keep caring for them as you would, with just slightly less water, since they have less leaves.
Do you know where I can buy a "weeping" mulberry tree. Not having any luck on line.Thanks.
We don't recommend places to purchase, but I will include a link the the search results that came up in google. Almost all of these online nurseries will ship to just about anywhere. This is my search result page: https://www.google.com/search?safe=active&client=opera&hs=Ct9&biw=1286&bih=670&ei=2XMAW7H6OufPjwSc6pngCg&q=weeping+mulberry+tree+for+sale&oq=weeping+mulberry+tree+for+sale&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0l4j0i22i30k1l6.1711.3870.0.4345.13.11.0.0.0.0.463.1352.0j6j4-1.7.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..6.7.1351...33i160k1.0.ObW9X-9OExA
These were found around the square in Bentonville AR. Someone said they are weeping mulberry but I’m doubtful.
I agree with you. I think they are weeping redbud trees. Here is more:

How do I propagate a weeping mulberry without resorting to grafting on to a white mulberry tree? I do not understand why I just can't take a cutting & root it as I would a fig or peach. I really detest grafted trees. The root stock just will not stop sending up suckers. This is true of my persimmon, weeping mulberry & jujub. I have killed off the jujub because the roots from the root stock are as invasive as Locust tree roots. thx,
You can grow these directly from cutting. They are just very slow to root and very slow to grow. Other than that, there is no reason why you wouldn't be able to grow one from cutting. They use rootstock commercially for faster production and often shorter stature.
Its just over a year since I planted it its about 15 feet or more growing well
Weeping trees are weeping when first purchased. If yours is 15 feet and not weeping I would say you have another variety. Sometimes they start out weeping, but a stray branch or two might start growing upright. Those should be cut out. But yours sounds like it never weeped.

There is a split that has appeared from the ground up to the top of the trunk and there is what looks like white "glue" in this split and the leaves, branches are dying? What can this be? I can not upload a picture? I don't know how.
