I live in Myrtle Beach and want to know when to plant cabbage, broccoli, and pumpkin.
I hope this helps.

How long will it take for pumpkins to grow if seed is planted in August?
They generally take about 3-4 months of nice, sunny weather to grow so you're looking at October/November harvesting.
If your seeds come in a package it should say how many days on it till estimated harvest. getting real close to late for halloween.
Good luck. If your in a hot zone like me, you may not have much luck this year.
Pumpkins are growing very good, lots of flowers, bees, lots of water, but only one pumpkin and it is the beginning of August. Is it too late for pumpkins to make fruit? Is there something I can do to help? Thanks!
Even if you see bees, a little hand pollinating will not hurt, to ensure you get more pumpkins. This article will help with hand pollinating:

I have a lot of blooms. Should I pick any of the blooms off to promote formation of pumpkin?
I would leave the flowers. This is where the pumpkins come from, at least on the female blossoms. Male blossoms (non fruiting), of which there may be many early on as with squash plants, will eventually drop on their own. The females will begin to form and produce fruit soon after.
If I prune off some flowers, will the rest of the pumpkins grow bigger?
Male blossoms will drop off themselves, as these do not produce any fruit. female blossoms are the ones that form into pumpkins. You can choose to remove some of the immature pumpkins of you have an abundance of them and would like to grow a certain amount. This will allow the plant to focus energy on those pumpkins which are already growing.
My pumpkins have turned orange. How long can I leave them on the vine? If I pick them, how long do they last or will they rot?

What causes the very small beginnings of the pumpkins to turn yellow and fall off the plant?
