I have beautiful pumpkin plants and flowers, but the pumpkins do not make it. What to do?
This is typical behavior for a squash plant, of which pumpkins share the same family. They will produce mostly male (non-fruiting) blossoms early in the season and will gradually start to produce more female blossoms as the season progresses. Give it some time and you will see it start fruiting.

I've been growing pumpkins and they are coming along nicely. One pumpkin needed to be turned and when I turned it, I accidentally snapped the vine leading to the main vine connected to the pumpkin. I put a band aid on it to help save it. Will my dark green pumpkin die? Is it too early to harvest pumpkins?

I am trying to find out what happens to the female pumpkin flower if it does not get pollinated. I pollinated my first and I found a second. The flower was a bud sealed and when I had attempted to pollinate it, it had these black seeds, like papaya seeds, in the closed petals. Help. What is it?
The fruit of the plant will fall off after a few days if the flower is not pollinated. I am not sure what the black things were that were inside it, but they may have been small insects that became trapped inside the blossom after it closed. Depending on how old the blossom was, they may also have been the faded stigma.
My grandson's pumpkins are ready to pick. How can we preserve them until Halloween?
Just keep the pumpkin in a clean, dry place out of direct sun and it should be fine until Halloween.
I have a pumpkin in my garden, which at the moment is yellow and very big. How can I tell when it is ready for picking? Should I wait for the skin to get darker?

In had a pumpkin vine start voluntarily from a pumpkin we threw out last fall. It is quite large with maybe 8-10 blossoms. But they don't turn into pumpkins. Is there something else I should do?
You may be just getting male blossoms early on. It is the female blossoms that are the ones that will turn into fruit. This article will help you determine the male from the female:

If you are seeing female blossoms falling off, you may have a pollination problem and it would be best to hand pollinate. This article will help you with that:
