They are in bags out side should be able to collect at Christmas But I think they are dead . We had a bad storm with strong winds .
They may just be flattened by the storm. Check the stems for broken or bent stems. Here is how to help after a storm:

Dug up my potatoes 5 days ago and put in a black bin bag ate some for the next two days very nice flavour, three days later most of the remainder have gone soft and soggy, squeeze one gently and thick white liquid squirts out. What could have caused this to happen? Any advice would be appreciated.
It's best to let them cure before storing. Here is how:

Hi sir, really need your expertise and advice for growing potatoes. I thought tht I used some expensive and good soil. Potatoes are growing well , plant was like growing to almost 2 feet then suddenly dying off and yellowish. So I thought it’s time to dig out for my potatoes and sad to found tht no potatoes at all for one of the pot. I yet to dig for the other 2 pots since 1st pot failed. The plant was In my kitchen with temp 20-28c ( air conditional) and I do hv some yellowish downlight on top of my potatoes. Your advice are appreciated.
Did you use certified seed potatoes? They need six to eight hours of sun outside so to replicate that indoors you probably need grow lights. Here are articles that should help:

perature dipped to minus 4c. I noticed that half way down they were damp, is this because of frost and if so will they recover? The potatoes had not sprouted and they look fine at the moment. I have purchased some horticultural fleece, will that be sufficient protection and what are the signs if they have been affected?
The moisture probably was from the frost. If the temperature was too cold they likely would rot.
The fleece is probably adequate or you can grow them indoors in a sunny window. These articles should help:

Hello, I wish I still lived in Tempe; I live in Buckeye now. I was hoping to find information about growing in Arizona, and I found your site, I love your training and your videos. I have everything to get started with my garden, the raised bed; for veggies and herbs, the dirt I have Fox Farm. I just ordered potato bags today, I am excited to try growing them, I really have not gardened since I was a young girl, in my sixties now. Back to my question, is it ok to start growing potatoes now, as you showed in your video? I hope it is not too late to start growing because it has gotten up in the hundreds. Thank you,
It is quite late in the season to plant. It may be too hot for all but the most heat tolerant cultivars. If you do have one of those, then you can plant now. Do expect a diminished harvest, though. For the future, planting in March is what you will aim for.
