I went for a walk and saw this plant in the sideway. It had deep purple leaves. What plant is it and how can I grow it?
Smoke tree/smoke bush. No not that kind, don't smoke it! But plant one and enjoy. When they bloom they are unique and beautiful.

If you can post a picture, this will help me to determine what the plant is.
The leaves are each 8 by 16inches and form a rosette from which arises a 4ft spike with many tiny "black" flowers. The photo also shows my size 10 shoe. Thanks John Postlethwaite
This is false hellebore, Veratrum. I don't know which species it is but it should be easier to tell once the flowers open if you do image searches. Some species are native to the Eastern and some to the Western USA. It is toxic if eaten with symptoms that vary depending on how much was ingested.
A painfully common weed in my British back garden - seems to be a creeper/ vine; may strangle other plants slightly. Singular papillonaceous flowers in lilac and white (separate plants) with interesting leaf shape. The flowers are very small - 3mm in length?
I am unable to identify that plant. You may have to ask the local agricultural center in your country. I am sorry I am unable to offer more information.
Would you be able to tell me what bush this is? It came up into my veggie garden.
This looks like "boneset", Eupatorium perfoliatum. It is a native plant where I live which might be considered weedy in a garden setting.
