I accidentally broke off a 10 inch section of a beautiful blooming purple petunia. Can I use Root Tone and save it?

Last year I collected seeds from my wave petunias.I have a small greenhouse so I germinated the seeds in hot beds.I got plenty of nice strong plant. The problem is the plant is all huge leaves. Really leaves larger than my hand. But no flowers at all. Just huge plants IV never seen any thing like this. Dose wave petunias have to be hybridized or can you directly collect the seeds.
Since Wave Petunia are a hybrid, the saved seed will most likely not be the same as the parent plant.
Many gardeners report the same, few flowers and small if any at all.
You could try an application of Phosphorous in the form of Bone Meal to encourage flowering. I would give it a try to see the outcome on these healthy looking plants.

I have 2 nice large containers of wave petunias. They sit on my patio which is on the west side of my apartment building. They get full sun only in the afternoon and evening. Is this not the best for the wave petunia? When I bought them they were full plants with a lot of flowers. Now they are drooping and do not look the best. I do keep they watered.
Full sun with evenly moist soil is ideal.
Containers will need daily water and even twice a day when the temperatures are above 80 degrees.

he blossoms without killing them
I would shake them lightly or even use a soft paintbrush to brush the soil from the flowers and leaves.
I have planted 7 hanging baskets all with petunias from the same batches. 6 have flowered beautifully but the remaining one, although very healthy, has not flowered at all. I have moved it where it will get maximum sunshine and feed all once a week-but so far nothing. Where have I gone wrong please and is there anything I can do to promote flowering in the remaining basket? Thank you,

What household products can be used to spray/treat/prevent powdery mold on Petunias?
There isn't really a "household" product that will be effective, but you can use neem oil, in addition to correcting whatever is causing the powdery mildew. This article will give you some additional information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/petunia/problems-with-petunias.htm
