My orchid has many blooms, but the petals seem to be without much body, soft and droopy. Is this a sign of it needing more water? And what kind of light do they like? I have it in a window where it gets adequate, but not direct sunlight. Thank you for your help.
They will want to be fed at least twice a month with an orchid fertilizer that is diluted to half strength. This can help prolong flowers. It is likely lacking in humidity, as most A/C units will remove humidity from the air. It should be in a very light orchid mix, which will need watering at least once per week, but can be even more depending on the humidity. You can spray them with water every morning to help with that. This lighting should be fine. They do not like direct light, so it would seem that you have them in the proper place.

How do I repot orchids? Can I cut the old leaves and cut the roots? Also what flowers can I plant first outside
Get a soil mix that is specific for orchids. Bury it in its new container with this mix. You do not need to cut anything off. The leaves can be if they are dead, but leave the roots. They are not dead. They still collect nutrients. This article will give you more information on their care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/orchids/indoor-orchid-care.htm
We have 6 pots of Orchids and all have ended flowering. To store for awhile, can we remove/trim the white root growths? Leaves? Do we water once per week (we use 3 ice cubes or 1/4 cup of water), leave alone or water once per month? What type of fertilizer, if any, should we use?
Actually, I have just the article for you!

I have an orchid that I haven't repotted as of yet, that lost bloom a couple of months ago I think, maybe less, and it looks as though it has a new bloom starting, so now I'm freaking out. And actually, it looks like there are two on the same stem. What do I do now?? I can't figure out how to get you a picture from my phone. Any suggestions???
With bright but indirect light, and proper watering/feeding, this will continue to put out blooms, as long as the light remains below 12 hours per day, it will continue to flower. As the day length increases, it will stop flowering until the next short day season. I just repotted my orchid in a new pot with orchid bark mix. As I was doing this, the tiny new leaf on the plant fell off. Should I be concerned? Also now that it is in bark it is a little tricky to tell when it needs to be watered? What should the bark feel like? The last question is that the flowers stopped flowering for a while before I was able to repot the orchid so I cut the stem down now and it was very dry. Do you think it will ever rebloom? As you can tell this is my very first orchid and I am keen to keep it thriving. Thank you for your help with my orchid!
