What plants are resistant to sunflower hull toxins when planted under bird feeders?
Personally, I have no experience if this plant is resistant to this, but this question has been answered elsewhere. Here is the link: http://www.torontomastergardeners.ca/askagardener/plants-that-will-survive-sunflower-seed-hulls-toxicity/
Hi My greenhouse is not quite in the corner of my garden. Can I grow plants behind it? I was thinking of planting some peas. Would other vegetables do better? Thanks for any replies.
You will need to determine the amount of sunlight in the area. 6 plus of direct sunlight is needed for most vegetables including peas.
If you have the sunlight necessary, you absolutely can plant!

can I do to save the plant?
If you can attach a photo or at least give the name of the plant, we may be able to help. Have you had it a long time? Is it a houseplant? In general, many problems go back to watering, usually over-watering. Have you looked for bugs and caterpillars? Did the leaves turn brown or have dark spots before they fell off? What type of soil is it in?
Hello, after recently moving house I dug out an old flower bed and refilled it with a thick layer of sand I found in the shed and multi purpose compost. I then planted up with primroses etc. We have moss in our lawn so I started researching how to treat this - to my horror I came across a description of lawn sand and realised I had mistakenly used this in my flower bed instead of sharp sand. I have used a whole bag meant for 200m square in a bed that is 1x1 M . My plants look very unhappy with this iron sulphate on their roots. Does all this need to be dug our? Or will the chemicals wash out in the rain over time? Many thanks for your help Alayne
This is unfortunate. You will need to completely replace this. It will wash out over time, but not before it obliterates all of the plants in the area.
Where can I buy the fencing in the attached photo. I bought several many years ago from Argos but they no longer stock it. There is no makers name on any part. They measure approx. 40ins High and 25ins wide Any help would be appreciated
I would recommend checking places like Amazon, Etsy, or Ebay. They may have what you are looking for. Alternatively, you can try your local gardening centers.

White sticky looking fluff has appeared on my tree, does anybody know what this is ? How can I get rid of this? I'm not sure what type of tree it is, it was a gift.
Answering my own question for other people with the same problem.
It is mealy bugs. I went to my local homecenter store and bought some 77% sterilising alcohol in a spray bottle. Focused sprays on the white patches but gave it a general spritz and it seems to have worked well.
Even better than alcohol is Neem oil, but they didn't sell any at the store I went to.
