That is pretty much it, the question is a pretty simple one. I do not want my mother out in the garden which has been treated with these chemicals if it poses a danger to her.

I am going to purchase a pressure cooker for canning and have read the pressure gauge should be checked yearly and this can be performed at most local extension offices. Is this something you do and if so is there a charge.
