White larvae with brown heads, have eaten roots and bulb of my onions that I planted last month. The green shoots had turned yellow so I thought I would lift some to see what was going on, this is when I found the larvae. I then noticed some of the early tomato plants near to them had wilted so lifted them to find they had no roots and larvae around them. I am a bit confused to which infestation I have, onion fly, vine weevil or something else?? Do vine weevil likes onions? Please can you advise me as I really don`t know. Many thanks P.s. sorry I haven`t taken any photo`s of them.
Possibly root weevil larvae. Here's an article that should help:

Can egyptian onions be transplanted?
Yes, but it is best to do so when the temperatures are mild. Transplanting during extreme cold or heat will result in a failed transplant. These can be treated like most other perennial onions. This article will help you to care for them: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/walking-onion/growing-walking-onions.htm
i plant some onions and want to know when can I pick them? I can see the Buble coming out of the ground so does that mean its time to pick them. I have a 18ft X 30ft Polytunnel here in the Isle of Man. I was thinking of sowing some onion seeds now and planting out the seedlings in a raised bed in the polytunnel in the same way as you would if using sets. Will this work?
It depends upon the type of onion you want to plant and your weather conditions. Different varieties require differing hours of sunshine to grow well. Here's an article that explains how to grow onions in cold conditions: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/onion/onion-frost-cold-protection.htm
How does the onion reproduce and how can I get more onions from the one I planted that has now bolted? Thank you
Most onions reproduce by seed, or by pup. Most modern onions will not reproduce reliably by way of pups, so that flowering stalk will be your best way forward.
Once the seeds mature, and are completely black, they are ready for planting. This article will help:

It looks like you have two different onions, but it could be that they are just not mature yet.
Your corn looks fine, also.
