I bought a mandevilla and one of the main branches got broke but not all the way. It just split to where it's hanging down. I have it tied so it won't fall and break completely. But isn't there some kind of tape I can use to help it mend?
This problem is more common than you might think.
Here are two articles that should help:

My mandevilla plant leaves have brown spots underneath but on top of leaves the spots look yellow.
How old is the plant? Are the spotty leaves on old growth or new growth? Is it getting proper water, feed, light and temperatures? How big are the spots?
I have two mandevilla plants. One faces the south and one to the north. The one on the north side has that leaves are turning yellow and dropping off. Also, some of the plant seems to be dying and both have received the same care. Any help would be appreciated.
If they are in the same area, and everything else is the same, the one facing north might appreciate more sun. Mandevilla tolerate full sun, but do best with dappled sun or light shade from 12 noon to 5pm. A few yellow leaves at the bottom of the plant is normal.
My Mandevilla was doing great until about a month ago. Now all of its leaves have dried and fallen off and I have been left with is a plant with no leaves or flowers. I have had some aphids on my green pepper plants (second question. . . big leaves, but not flowering). Can either of these plants be saved? Leaves on underside of pepper plants are spotted with brown spots. As for the mandevilla, can I trim it down and have new growth?
If the mandevilla stem is dry and brittle, I would cut it back to the point where it seems to be flexible. Hopefully, it will resume growing. This link might answer more mandevilla questions: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/vines/mandevilla/mandevilla-plant.htm

Hopefully, the following article will help answer your question about peppers not blooming: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/pepper-blossoms-falling-off.htm
I live in Sacramento, CA. What is the best fertilizer for my Mandevilla?
I suggest a well balanced fertilizer like 20-20-20 or 14-14-14. It is my opinion that "bloom booster" fertilizers, with an analysis of 15-30-15, or something similar, are too high in potassium, and in the long run, are harmful to the plant. If you were to ask 10 growers of mandevilla, you'd probably get 10 different answers. What works best for one doesn't always work best for another.
Why is my mandevilla plant dying off and getting leggy at the bottom of the plant? Also, the leaves are turning yellow.
