I sprayed around the foundation of my house with 91% alcohol to kill clover mites that were invading the inside of my house. The grass near the foundation has now browned. Will the grass eventually come back? And, if not, is the soil damaged so that new grass seed will not germinate?
If your grass is the type that spreads by rhizomes, it will probably come back. Since the soil is likely damaged, I would work some compost or manure into the ground to enrich it.

I have weed be gone and then dug out some but too much to do that. WILL weed be gone" 1" not harmful to other lawn work? or your suggestion??
This article should help you with the problem:
Over the last few years ugly grey patches have appeared, the grass tries to grow within these areas but very weak, toad stools grow here. I posted this same request for advice a few weeks ago, but didn’t find it helpful, but thanks anyway
I laid turf about 8 months ago. It has been fairly slow growing and is now becoming almost straw like with lots of dead blades. I water it frequently and cut on a high setting once a week. The garden is south facing. We also have another front law facing East which is growing fantastically. Can anyone help advise on where I may be going wrong please?
I do see signs of infection. Unfortunately, this can be the luck of the draw, even, with perfect care! A fungicide of your choice will be necessary.

Browny yellow patches of dead grass sporadically spread over lawn and getting steadily worse.
Unfortunately, there are a few things that can cause this. Ultimately, antifungal treatment may be necessary.

Hi How do I get rid of this? Thx, Mark
Unfortunately, trying to kill one grass may kill the others. Whatever you choose, you may need to start fresh.
I'd recommend solarizing the area and reseeding!
i keep coming across white mold in my soul outside. thus is underground, usually about 6-12" down. i have sent pictures and spoke to the extension office & all they can tell me is that i won't find mold underground, but they don't know what it could be. this has an extremely strong mold smell & will such the moisture out of any plant near it. no one can tell me what or how to get rid of it.
To me, this describes Armillaria. This is going to be quite difficult to deal with, unfortunately. You may have luck with solarizing the area.
