I have a holly tree in front yard that has brown leaves on branches that are attached to a trunk that appears to be losing the bark. The trunk has a "honeycomb" look where the bark seems to be gone in certain areas. Any ideas?
Your holly may be suffering from a canker.
Generally it would need to be cut out of the shrub.

I have two Holly bushes that have developed what I think is fungus. The underside of the leaves have long white spots. When I shake the branch, small particles fly off. Do you know what it could be and, if so, how do I take care of it? Thank you.
Are the spots powdery in nature. If so, it is is powdery mildew and can be treated with neem oil. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/get-the-cure-for-powdery-mildew.htm https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm

I have clumps of mealy brown matter under the leaves on my holly tree. I am seeing clumps 1/4 by 1/2 of a brown mealy substance.
This could be a spider mite infestation or scale.

I have a holly leaf that is no longer the black stem. If it is not dried can it spring up somewhere? Not that it may be because I got him two years ago and the growth has never been good, but this spring I transplanted and put it where it gets more shade to see if it improved but I think it has gotten worse. Can it be Phytophthora or something else? Do you have any solutions?
