how do you make it bloom
If your plants are babies, then it's normal for them not to bloom. Many hibiscus like to be 3-4 feet tall before they start to bloom, and a few varieties are very slow to start blooming. If your hibiscus is young and has not yet bloomed, then don't worry. It is expending its energy on growing leaves instead of producing flowers. When it feels strong, big, and healthy enough, it will start blooming.
There are three main things that hibiscus need in order to make buds: the right amount of sun, enough water, and enough of the right kind of fertilizer. So if your hibiscus aren't making any buds at this time of year, look at each of these three possibilities.
It's midsummer, the peak of the season for a nearly invisible little flying insect called thrips. These annoying little pests fly off of many, many different flowering plants and weeds, and lay their eggs in our lovely, developing hibiscus buds. Sadly, the eggs hatch and the larvae kill the bud before it finishes developing, with the result that we see fallen buds all over the ground and no flowers.

I do to help it? I purchased this plant about a month ago after someone said it was dead. It has had anywhere from 1-6 blooms everyday but 1 since then and is growing new leaves. Today there is 1 bloom however I do not see any new buds coming in though and am concerned I could be doing something wrong. I have no buds at this time and move 'her' inside when the weather is extremely hot. I may have overwatered at 1st but now use a water globe to eliminate that issue. Am I just expecting something too soon or is there something I can do to encourage buds?
Sounds like the plant was all ready stressed.
Patience and care as outlined in the article below will help you.

What animal is eating my hibiscus. It looks like a weed eater went over. Chopping the blooms of and leaves. We have large black Crickets could they do the damage or Squirrels? I have the hibiscus on top of a wall in pots. How can I get rid off that problem?
It's doubtful Crickets could chew through the larger stems. Squirrels are the most likely.

I have clusters of blooms (8-10 in a cluster). Did I need to thin them out?
Since flowers only last about 24 hours, there should be no need to thin the buds.
Enjoy your full and happy plant.

My "outdoor" dinner plate hibiscus (red) has something eating holes on the leaves. What do you recommend to use to save the plant? Also, the same plant is huge... can I split it in the fall? Thank you so much!
You can use neem oil, as long as you do this when it is not in direct sun. This will deter most pests without harming the plant. There are many other things that can help that you likely have in your house already as well. This collection of articles will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/organic
