A few years ago I was given a hibiscus plant and have always had it inside. It was blooming then but has not done so since but one other time. It is so big and the leaves look good but there are no blooms anymore. I would like to cut it back but I'm not sure if that would help. It is too cold to put it outside. Would sure like to know how to take care of it.

I bought this plant but don't know much about it. I can't seem to find the info I need. I would like to know how big this plant grows and how much sun it should get. I live in central Arkansas. Is this climate good for this plant?
These plants vary in height but can reach up to 10 feet and thrive in sun or partial shade. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/how-to-care-for-hibiscus-plants.htm
What is wrong when a Hibiscus flower closes up?
Hibiscus flowers only last one day. The flowers close up at the end of the day and fall off. This is normal. The best thing is to make sure that your hibiscus is producing lots of flowers. That way you will always have plenty of flowers on any given day. Make sure you are giving the plant plenty of fertilizer with a slightly higher phosphorous content. This will keep the plant blooming beautifully.
How tall does this hibiscus plant get?
Hibiscus plant height can vary depending on the variety; however, most tend to grow upwards to 10 feet. Those grown in containers will be considerably smaller, as their growing space is limited. Pruning can also help minimize the growth of these plants.
We have a nice hibiscus bush normally loaded with blooms and flowers, but the problem we have is that there are a couple of squirrels that insist on eating the buds or the flowers. They also seem to find the new growth of leaves to be a real treat. I like the squirrels, and we feed them daily a diet of peanuts, sunflower seeds, and fruits. But is there anything that we could spray on the bush to discourage them from eating our flowers and buds?
