What is wrong when a Hibiscus flower closes up?

Hibiscus flowers only last one day. The flowers close up at the end of the day and fall off. This is normal. The best thing is to make sure that your hibiscus is producing lots of flowers. That way you will always have plenty of flowers on any given day. Make sure you are giving the plant plenty of fertilizer with a slightly higher phosphorous content. This will keep the plant blooming beautifully.
