Iguanas are eating the blooms off my hibiscus. A lady from Home Depot says there is something to put out that they don't like.

I have three plants of Hibiscus. The oldest is very healthy, produces 5-7 flowers at a time and it gives red colored flowers. But sometimes, there seems to be white part in red color and sometimes they are small sized and tear shaped, not in proper shape. Why and what should I do to have them in proper size and shape, as well as its pure red color? The 2nd one only gives a flower at a time but the 3rd one is too weak, as its leaves are too small and tiny (size of pencil diameter). I treated all my plants equally but what's the problem by which they are not growing the same?
The following link will provide info on hibiscus plants and their care, which should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/
Have a 15 year old hibiscus plant that has bloomed every year except this year. The plant foliage is green and full. No sight of any buds. Please advise!! Thanks.
Likely to much Nitrogen in the soil. This can cause lots of lush leaves and no flowering.
Phosphorous is needed and Bone Meal is a great way to add this to the soil.

2 of the 4 we planted died in less than a week. The other two bloomed but only lasted one day and were wilted.
Daily watering is very important for new plantings, especially during the summer heat or if temperatures are above 85 degrees, twice daily may be required.
2 to 3 inches of hardwood mulch can help with moisture retention.
Flowers on a Hibiscus only last 24 hours, but a happy healthy Hibiscus will bloom most of the summer months.

My hibiscus bloomed earlier but now it gets numerous buds and they turn yellow and fall off. Why? What should I do?
It is probably similar to the common problem of the blossoms falling off. Follow the directions in this article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/hibiscus-flowers-hibiscus-blossoms-falling-off-plant.htm
My hibiscus, when it blooms, it does have a full flower but only lasts for maybe 2 to 3 days. It does have lots of buds.
This is quite normal for hibiscus blooms. You may have many blooms flowering at once, but they do not last much longer than a day.
I live in MS. Can I plant hibiscus in the yard and will it live in the winter or will it die? Does it come back in the summer or is it an annual?
Tropical Hibiscus is hardy in Zones 9 and 10.
