Q.Hibiscus
2 of the 4 we planted died in less than a week. The other two bloomed but only lasted one day and were wilted.
Daily watering is very important for new plantings, especially during the summer heat or if temperatures are above 85 degrees, twice daily may be required.
2 to 3 inches of hardwood mulch can help with moisture retention.
Flowers on a Hibiscus only last 24 hours, but a happy healthy Hibiscus will bloom most of the summer months.
