Hello, I have a guava tree and an apple tree. Both have been stable, show leaves but no fruit. We’ve had insects in the past on our citrus trees nearby which went away by themselves. Could it be insects or something else? They were planted about 5 years ago.
There are several possible reasons. These articles should help. Also check your growing conditions against their ideal culture.

My guava tree had tons of flowers this year and was excited because I knew I would be getting guava. Then after all the flowers bloomed the flowers started to fall off which I know that is normal, but then the stems the flowers where on started to fall off! What’s going on? Am I losing my potential guavas? What can I do to stop it? Help!
Yes, and I am seeing signs of infection, as well. Make sure to let the soil dry out down to about 2 or 3 inches between watering, thoroughly. You will, also, want to treat with a fungicide. Make sure that the tree receives full sun, or if it can't, then you may need to install a horticultural lamp of 200 watts or greater to give the tree enough light to bear fruit.

Fruit don't fully develop on the tree

I sprayed my guava with fungicide. Now my leaves are all burnt. Will my guava tree survive? I don’t want it to die! How long do I have to wait to see if it will come back to life?
I would contact the fungicide manufacturer by email or toll free number and discuss this in more details. I hesitate to comment for lack of information, such as why did you apply a fungicide, which product did you use and exactly how much, is the fungicide approved for the problem you were having and for use in guava, did you follow the application instructions/amounts, etc.
Where can I buy 6-6-6-2 fertilizer
Organic compost contains lots of magnesium so you could put a layer of compost in spring. If your latest soil test indicated no issues with magnesium for the guava trees though, adding magnesium by other means may be unnecessary.
No additional info.
Typically, the most important factor is age. The plant will need to be at least three years old. Following this, proper fertilization with a 10-10-10 and care are essential.
