Trees Not Bearing Fruit

Hello, I have a guava tree and an apple tree. Both have been stable, show leaves but no fruit. We’ve had insects in the past on our citrus trees nearby which went away by themselves. Could it be insects or something else? They were planted about 5 years ago.
