When and how should I purine my gerbera daisy??
Prune the wilted or spent flowers all the way back to the crown. This will keep the plant healthy and encourage more flowers.
Pinch or trim old leaves throughout the growing season to keep the plant tidy.
Cut the plants back to about 1" in the Fall, just before the first frost.
If you are in zones 1-6 you will need to lift the plant and winter indoors.

Gerber daisy has had buds about to burst into blooms but all of a sudden the bud disappears. The stem is still there but it appears like something has removed the bud. My yard is fenced with chain-link fencing and I have not seen any evidence of deer. Any ideas?
The loss of bud could be caused by insects, Thrips will 'cut off' blossoms.
Slugs could also cause damage, though I believe you would also see leaf damage in this case.
Inspect the plant for signs of Thrips, and treat the plant with Neem Oil.

My Gerber daisy stem went limp and I do not know what to do. I watered it and it is not dry. What could I do for this plant? The plant is in our church as part of our decorations.
The flower may be at the end of it's life cycle; the spent flowers can be removed to make room for additional flowers.

I have had this daisy for many years. 3 years ago I discovered small green bugs on the underside of the leaves and on all the blooms. I did some research and bought some neem oil which I applied to the infected area, later that summer I planted it outside. When I brought it in I planted it in fresh soil, at that time there was no bugs. The following year by spring time the bugs reappeared even watering it with the neem oil solution. I planted it again outside diving the plant. This year there is still the little green bugs. What can I do besides just throwing it away. Thanks, Rebecca Bounds
Aphids, Leafminers, Mites, Whiteflies and Thrips are commonly found on Gerbera Daisy.
Beneficial insects can help with problem pests. Neem Oil is a good treatment and you can use throughout the growing season to control pests.

How to get rid of the root rot in my pot plant of Gerber daisies? Can I save them? And do I need to remove the fugus from the follage?
Once root rot has began in a Gerber Daisy it is likely not able to be reduced.
Allow the soil to dry out and make sure the container is well draining.
Avoid watering down into the center of the plant.

It sounds like the flowers are just completing their life cycle and once they have wilted you can cut them from the plant.
