I have 8 fruit trees .two pears apples plum cherry . Everyone is very healthy. They are approx 6/8 years old. This year they were all covered in tons of blossom but only a few ( about 10) on each tree converted to fruit. I have fed them and watered etc. We do have pigeons. Please help .
There can be several reasons for non bearing fruit trees. Pollination issues, environmental, pests, and disease.
You can start with a soil test, do determine if soil amendments are needed.

I discovered there are white spots on my fruit tree (Logan tree)mostly on leaves and even on the branch. I had tried to eliminate them by cutting out leaves and even cut off a tree limb (very labor intensive). Unfortunately "these white spots" return. I prefer non chemical use for now the tree is loaded with fruit. The harvest will be in late Sept. Please advise.
Looks like Scale.

Hello, I have clay and am finding it hard to grow fruit trees. In the next 2 weeks I'm getting someone in to rotary hoe it for me. I will sprinkle gypsum on top first, however he mentioned to also add mushroom compost. My question is what ratio should i use. Its a 14m by 8m section to be worked on. Also how much too. I read somewhere around 1kg a sqm. Thanks heaps!! :)
Sprinkling gypsum in your soil will only help soften it up for when it is rotary-tilled, but it won't add any long-term benefit to your soil. You should follow the instructions on the packaging to determine the ratio and how much gypsum to use. This article provides some additional information on using gypsum:

Peach and plum trees were an excellent crop last year. This year- nothing? Other than weather, what happened?
Environmental causes, pollination issues, pests, disease and poor nutrient levels.
Improper pruning can also effect fruit crop.
