I have a brown turkey I planted in the spring of 2017, I got about ten figs. Now the tree looks dead. The branches are black and the tree looks dead. I’m afraid to cut it down in case it’s just dormant, it’s in direct sun and got plenty of water. Any suggestions? Thank you Donna Millican

After wintering I went and inspected my fig tree I slit and opening and it looks like a white porous with green outer rim is this what is suppose to look like after wintering?
