I have ez-flow system and use a 20-20.-20 fertilizer to cover 8000 square feet in Las Vegas nv? How often do I fill it and when. I have trees and plants.
I would advise you check with the manufacturer on the method of how to fill your irrigation system.
Fertilizing amounts and NKP can be tree and plant specific.
I have been using Epson salt in my garden, but have not deluted it with water...just sort of took a handful and threw on the plants. Since reading your website, I realize that was the wrong way to use it. Will my flowers die now?
Yes, you can mix the Epsom Salt into a solution of water to feed your plants;
but I also drop handfuls of Epsom Salt right at the base of my plants or sprinkle around my garden!
I've done it for years, as I learned from my Grandmother!
Your flowers will love it!
Hi, I read the article on growing Jacob's Ladder plants. The article suggests "occasional foliar feeding". Please advise as to which foliar feeding formula will be best for Jacob's Ladder. If I might ask a related question - same question for my hosta plants, which do well in my part shade townhome garden, but I would like to give them some extra nourishment. I live in Northern VA. Thanks!

Is 10-52-10 too high for flowering plants
It is best to have your soil tested before adding fertilizers.
The NPK you mention is an extremely high ratio of phosphorous.
Most flowering plants can do well with a balanced fertilizer, 5-5-5 or 10-10-10.

Can I apply Milorganite within one day of applying blood meal to my garden, or will it be too much nitrogen?
What are you fertilizing? What is the nutrient level in your soil?
Have you had a soil test done on your soil? Are you trying to raise the nitrogen levels in your garden?
Nitrogen is certainly beneficial to your garden and necessary for your plants to grow healthy, but excess nitrogen can be a detriment inhibiting formation of flowers, fruits and vegetables.
Excess nitrogen can burn and even kill your plants.

In my opinion, alway apply nitrogen in lighter formulations, you can always reapply! You can't take it back--very easily!
Hi I'm pretty sure I have a fertilized my flowers there really isn't any growth and what few flowers that have come out have been dry and brown they are in a big pot I can't really do anything about it I just wondered if I should wait and see what happens or if I should just pull them and get some new ones .? They are Calibrachoa and we are in Michigan zone five so these are an annual
Your plant actually look green and healthy. The spent flowers can be dead headed from the plant.
You can pinch back to a healthy set of leaves to promote a bushier plant.
